Rabbi Habli Min Ladnka Dzurriiyatan Thayyibatan

Rabbi Habli Min Ladunka Dzurriyyatan Thayyibatan Innaka Sami’ud Du’aa is the prayer of the Prophet Zakaria Alaihissalam to ask for a pious descendant. The prayer of the Prophet Zakariya as is contained in the Qur’an, Surah Ali Imran verse 38.

Previous verse, Surah Ali Imran verse 37 was read;

So his Lord accepted it with a good tribe, and he was given good news. Hey, I have this, this is from God, that God blesses those who are happy.

Every time Zakaria comes to meet his mihrab, he found food by his side. He said, “O Mary, where did you get this from?” He (Mary) answered, “This is from God.” Indeed, God gives fortune to whom he will be without counting.

The full prayer of the Prophet Zakariya in the Latin text reading reads Rabbi Habli Min Ladunka Dzurriyyatan Thayyibatan Innaka sami’ud du’aa. In Arabic text, according to the sound in the letter Ali Imran verse 38 as follows;

Here you call Zakaria, his master, he said God, give me a good offspring about you

That is, Zechariah prayed to his Lord. He said, “My master, give me a good descendant from your side.

Then, the verse is chasing, which is the 40th verse of Ali Imran’s letter;

So, he called him, and he was the one who prayed in our warehouse from two rituals

Meaning; Then, the angel (Gabriel) called him when he stood in prayer in Mihrab, “Allah conveyed the happy news to you with (birth) Yahya who allowed God’s punishment, (to), to hold (from lust), and a prophet among pious people.”

Good offspring and righteous
