Darul Ulum Kujan Bulik Lamandau Islamic Boarding School

Rihlah to Lamandau Regency this time at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Kujan Sub -District, Bulik District, Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. In this pesantren, we stopped for 3 days to carry out organizational activities.

Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Kujan Bulik Lamandau is located at Simpang Fitri Trans Kalimantan, Jl. Yos Sudarso, Kujan Village, Bulik District, Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan 74162. The very strategic location in the center of Bulik City which continues to develop as the capital of Lamandau Regency.

Vision and Mission of Pesantren

As an Islamic educational institution, Darul Ulum Kujan Lamandau Islamic Boarding School Lamandau is under the legal entity of the Darul Ulum Foundation. The Darul ‘Ulum Foundation was established to continue the existence of an Islamic educational institution before, the Kasful Anwar Islamic Boarding School.

The establishment of the Kasful Anwar Islamic Boarding School at that time was an idea and gait of several figures in Lamandau Regency, Sepetti Muhtar Dahni, H. Pansyah, H. Marzuki and Mirin as well as several other figures.

Since 2019, the Darul Ulum Foundation initiated the establishment of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. In addition, also pioneering the establishment of Madarasah Ibtidaiyah Elementary Education Izharul Ulum and Madrasah Diniyah Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum. Until now, pesantren, Madrasan Ibtidaiyah and also Madrasah Diniyah continue to exist and develop.

The Darul Ulum Lamandau Foundation has a vision of organizing quality and Islamic insight into science and technology and makes graduates of pesantren and madrasas has general knowledge and religious skills so that it becomes a role model in society.

Rihlah and stop at the pesantren

To the Darul Ulum Kujan Bulik Lamandau Islamic Boarding School, we underwent Rihlah and at the same time stopped by three days from 20 to 22 June 2025.

After leaving the Iskandar Pangkalan Bun airport, we took the time to have breakfast at Mrs. Haji’s food stalls, that’s the name. It is located in the new market complex on the suburbs of Pangkalan Bun. The food menu is delicious and many choices. I took the side dishes of grilled tilapia.

After traveling for about 1 hour, we stopped for a moment at the Runtu intersection. Simpang Tiga that connects the back of the highway to three directions; Namely Lamandau, Sampit and Pangkalan Bun. Then, one hour more and more travel to the place to stop, precisely at the Darul Ulum Kujan Bulik Lamandau Islamic Boarding School.

Rihlah to Lamandau this time followed the same road as before, where the writer had also been rihlah for the first time to Lamandau. Precisely at MI Assirojiyyah Wonorejo Village, Sematu Jaya District, Lamandau Regency.

For 3 days stopped at the Darul Ulum Kujan Lamandau Islamic Boarding School, we made more than 80 participants in the activity. They come from several sub -districts in Lamandau Regency such as Bulik District, Sematu Jaya, Delang, East Bulik, Metnhobi Raya. There are even participants from Sukamara Regency.

For 3 days we stopped finding the seriousness and commitment of all education participants. Also from the organizing committee. This situation gave birth to a sense of optimism to jointly build and strengthen the organization in Lamandau Regency.

Back to Pangkalan Bun

After the right mood on Monday, we were around the center of Bulik just to find dinner. Fortunately, in the city center that looked calm that night, we enjoyed a special menu of Javanese cuisine.

Right before 04.00, we said goodbye to the implementer of the activity. Then stop to perform the Fajr prayer at the Baitur Rahmah Mosque in Runtu Village, Arut Selatan District, West Kotawaringin Regency

Around 07.00 WIB, we arrived at the center of Pangkalan Bun City, around the roundabout enjoying Soto Kuwali. After enough breakfast Soto Kuwali, towards Iskandar Airport. Then, while waiting for boarding time, for a moment chatting in Joglo in the Iskandar Pangkalan Bun airport parking lot.
