Ken Fallin’s Broadway: Lynn Nottage

Lynn Nottage, two time Pulitzer Prize winner, was honored the opposite night by the Dramatist Guild Basis, at their annual Gala.

Nottage was the primary lady to win two Pulitzer Prizes for drama. The prolific playwright has penned Intimate Attire the Opera, Clyde’s, The Secret Lifetime of Bees, Sweat, Ruined, and extra.

The night featured performances and appearances by Patti LuPone, Deborah Cox, Eric McCormack, Collin Hancock, Adrienne Warren, Margo Seibert, Kate Whoriskey, Jhardon Dishon Milton, Matthew Griffin, Lynn Ahrens, Todd London, Rebekah Greer Melocik, Sarah Ruhl, Stephen Schwartz, Benjamin Velez, Jacob Yandura, and Dramatists Guild president Andrew Lippa.

The gala helps playwrights, composers, lyricists, and librettists via monetary assets and education-driven programming, and was held on the Ziegfeld Ballroom October 23.
